Fun at McConnell Winery

October 4th, 2011

Thank you to all who participated in my fall portrait sessions at McConnell Estates Winery on Saturday.  I will be updating with sneak peeks of all the sessions on my blog this whole week, so keep checking back!

First up a very fun and easy going family!  I love their style, I love that they let Mr. Noah just run around and be himself, I love that they know how to just hang out and let me do my thing.  It was great to see you again!  Thanks so much friends!

Love me some eyelashes!

Mr. Noah, I love your big brown eyes!

Love me some wide angle sometimes!

We tried and tried to get Noah to jump big, nope not going for it today.  But, look Daddy can jump big!

This is my FAVORITE image in a long time!!

You rock Dad! High fives and knuckles!! :)

Love,

Bethanie

Busy, Busy in Old Elk Grove

September 23rd, 2011

Miss D is one busy bee!  At 19 months she had an agenda of her own for our session.  :) I absolutely love this age!  Curious about the world around them.  Dirt is cool, rocks are to be eaten and then thrown to the ground, but especially running away from Mom and Dad is the best!  Tarver family I had a fun time hanging out with you!  I am looking forward to March when the new baby arrives!

Absolutely love the crooked smile!

Nothing like the security of Moms hand

Man, your expressions are priceless!

Your family is gorgeous!

Run to Daddy!  Look at how his arms are completely wrapped around his baby girl, I bet just as he is wrapped around her pinky! :)

I told ya, your expressions are priceless!

Much love friends!

Sisters

September 20th, 2011

I never grew up with a sister.  I grew up with brothers.  It was my pleasure on Saturday evening to hang out with these girls and witness the special bond that sisters share.  Mom and Dad stood back while I did my thing, which was awesome!  The girls persevered through the field, picking out the pokies from their feet along the way.  In the end Dad saw how much fun we were having so he jumped in on a few of the last shots.  Thank you so much Peters Family for sharing a little bit of your Saturday evening with me!

Now on to the fun part!  Photos!

We began at a little spot by my house that I am growing to love more and more lately.  They were sharing secrets.  :)

Change of location and some bubble fun, er fight!  :)

Miss L.  Working it out for the camera!  Love the hazy sun!

Miss S. chillin on the blanket!  Gosh, I love your smile and your curled toe! :)

Picture perfect in the setting sun!

Last but not least, hanging with Dad!  You can tell Dad loves his daughters.  I heard him numerous times telling each of them how beautiful they both are and how proud they make him.  Wub!

Thanks again friends for making my job so easy!  You rock!

Balloons and Marble Soda – My girl

September 9th, 2011

My daughter Brielle will be 7 on Monday.  She is my only girl!  Although most days she thinks she is one of the boys.  I love that she is confident and can be sporty and girly at the same time.  Today we went out to document her turning 7.  Tomorrow we will have a friends and family dinner party too.  Her BFF from school will be joining us, as well as Grandpa Jones, Papa Leo, Grandma Katsuko, the cousins and a few close family friends.  This is share overload time!  I absolutely love it when she plays with her Mama and the camera.  Can you tell I couldn’t decide what images to post?  Tomorrow her and her BFF get to play together for some BFF pictures.  For now, enjoy this set!

Full, full sun!

Hello world!

September 2nd, 2011

Yay!  Finally blogging.  I feel so behind all my other photographer friends, who’ve been blogging forever!  Call me a little slow.  Just didn’t want my blog to be another way to not spend time with the family.  Hopefully this blog will be fun to host and fun for you to read!  What’s a first post without a picture?  After church today we spent the afternoon in Old Sacramento (my favorite place to shoot pictures) at their annual “Gold Rush Days.”  Since I am almost never in front of the camera, the hubs took one of me and our babies!  Messy hair, candy in the mouth and all.  This photo is important to me, since my oldest is moving to Indiana in one month.  We’ve got to keep creating memories.  :)
